Where the ServiceTitan export lives, what imports into Nexa by file, and what you re-enter once.
$300/month → $279 once.
ServiceTitan at $300/month costs $10,800 over 3 years at today's price. Nexa is $279 once — $10,521 less over that period. Your ServiceTitan client list and your bank history import into Nexa by file. Services and the invoices still open you re-enter once; past invoices and job history stay in your ServiceTitan export. Keep ServiceTitan running until Nexa checks out — and Nexa has a 30-day money-back guarantee.
Client addresses don't import into the client record yet — they come across in the Notes column. The full list, with templates, is on Bring your data.
Get your files out before you change anything. In ServiceTitan the export lives at Settings → Data Management → Export (CSV, Excel). Menu names change between versions — if the path doesn't match, search ServiceTitan's help for "export". Excel (.xlsx) files import as they are; an old .xls file, save as .xlsx or CSV first.
Watch for: Custom fields may not export cleanly. Attachments require separate download.
Go to Settings → Data Management → Export. Select 'Customers' and choose CSV format. Include all fields. Download the file.
⚠ File may be large — use desktop browser, not mobile
In the same Export section, select 'Jobs' with date range 'All Time.' Include completed, canceled, and pending jobs for full history.
⚠ Large accounts may timeout — try 1-year chunks if needed
Select 'Invoices' export. Include all statuses (paid, unpaid, void) for complete financial history.
⚠ Invoice line items may export as separate file — grab both
Job photos and documents don't export in bulk. Open your 20 most recent jobs and download attachments manually. Prioritize jobs you'll reference again.
⚠ This is tedious but important — photos prove work quality for warranty claims
Your ServiceTitan pricebook won't export in a usable format. Screenshot or print each category for reference when building Services in Nexa.
⚠ Don't try to replicate exactly — use this as opportunity to simplify pricing
Exports from ServiceTitan, but check it: Custom fields (may need manual mapping); Job photos (download separately, re-attach in Nexa); Technician notes (export as text, loses formatting).
Each import reads your file, matches the columns by their names, and skips anything you already have — so a second try never makes doubles.
CRM → Tools menu → Import CSV, or Settings → System → Import from another tool, then choose the client file (CSV or Excel) you exported from ServiceTitan. Columns are matched by header name, in English or Spanish, so Company, Customer Name, E-mail, Mobile, Empresa or Correo work as they are. Separate First Name and Last Name columns are joined into one contact name, and Street, City, State and ZIP columns into the client’s address. Status words from other tools (Active, Archived, Proposal) are matched to Nexa’s stages. Nexa needs a Business or a Contact column; it also reads Email, Phone, Address, City, State, ZIP, Status, Type, Tags, Source, Notes. Rows that match an existing client by business name, email or phone are skipped, so re-importing is safe.
Banking → Import CSV / OFX. Download a CSV, OFX or QFX from your bank. Downloads from Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Capital One, Discover, American Express, Citi, BBVA México, Banorte and Santander México are recognized as they come. This brings the money side of your history across, whatever ServiceTitan kept. Banking can also connect to your bank directly.
If your appointments also live in Google Calendar, Outlook or Apple Calendar, export that calendar as .ics and use Schedule → Import iCal. Upcoming jobs that only exist in ServiceTitan you add by hand (next step).
Recurring work: Jobs import one at a time. Open the ones that repeat and set how often. Online booking: Imported services start off your booking page. Turn Bookable on for the ones clients can book themselves.
Keep ServiceTitan active as a backup until everything here is checked off.
ServiceTitan at $300/month costs $3,600 a year at today's price. Over 3 years: $10,800. Nexa is $279 once. The break-even point is 1 months; after that, what ServiceTitan would have charged stays with you.
If you're using ServiceTitan's call tracking numbers, those are theirs. If you own your business number and just forwarded it to ServiceTitan, simply update forwarding to your direct line.
ServiceTitan reviews stay on ServiceTitan. Google reviews, Yelp reviews, and reviews on your own site stay with you. This is another reason to prioritize Google reviews over platform-specific reviews.
Yes, the open ones. Export your unpaid invoices as a CSV and import them under Settings → System → Import from another tool. Each comes in with its number, client, due date and what is still owed; paid and void invoices are left out. Keep the export of past invoices as your record.
No. An Address or Street column, plus City, State and ZIP when your export splits them, comes in as the client’s address.
Nothing doubles. Clients that match by business name, email or phone are skipped; so are expenses with the same vendor, amount and date, invoices with the same number, and jobs and tasks with the same title and date. Services with the same name get the new price.
The exports are the slow part — a few minutes each. Each import takes seconds.
Yes, and you should. Cancel only once your clients and numbers check out in Nexa.
